This is a picture taken on the Francisco Miranda, the main east-west traffic artery in Caracas. Notice the lovely view of the mountains as one nears the center of the city. But notice, too, the advertising that obstructs that view. A popular singer markets a fast-food brand and doesn’t really care about the esthetics of the signs where is face appears. We nave “naturalized” such abuses.

Esta es una foto tomado en el autopista Francesco Miranda en Caracas. Nótense la hermosa vista de las montañas y luego la propaganda que obstruye dicha vista. Un cantante popular mercadea una marca de chucherías y evidentemente no le preocupa mucho por los resultados estéticos de esta actividad económica. Hemos “naturalizado” abusos como éste.
