I have not been very successful in getting pictures of election imagery, but then I only tried for one day. Part of the problem is to get the pictures in moving traffic. I’ll add more in the next couple of days. The “no-s” outnumber the “sí-s” but this is not a representative sample. It is interesting how the content changes: some are directed right at Chavez as a personality, others at institutions. One has placed a “Sí” on top of another “Sí”.

No he tenido mucho éxito en fotografiar imágenes relacionadas con la elección, pero sólo intenté hacerlo por un día. Parte del problema es conseguir tiempo y espacio suficiente en las condiciones terribles del tráfico caraqueño. Las fotos que demuestran el “no” son más frecuentes, pero no se trata de una muestra representativa. Añadiré más en esta semana. Es interesante como los mensajes cambien: algunas refieren a Chávez directamente, otros a instituciones. En un caso un "Sí" fue pegado sobre otra "Sí". Uno aconseja no votar para nadie -para mí un mensaje totalmente anti-democrático.
