English: Last Thursday we had a storm that collected at least ten centimeters of water in a dog dish in the center of my patio. I had left for Caracas before the rain began, travelling the Pan-American Highway. When I got to Cochecito the deluge started. It rapidly became a frightening torrent that poured a flood of wash-off from the the community's stairways and directed mud and water across the bridge that leads to the El Valle Highway exit.
Español: El jueves pasado hubo una tormenta, llovió tanto que dejó por lo menos diez centímetros de agua en una vasija que había dejado fuera en el patio. Tenía una obligación en Caracas, y antes del comienzo de la lluvia salí por la Panamericana para cumplirla. Cuando llegué a Cochecito en pocos minutos se había acumulado una catarata desde las escaleras de aquella comunidad que a mi me dio miedo; se puede apreciar el chorro de agua y lodo en estas fotos.
